About Me

J.Thomson Photography Design: Hallandale Beach, FL, United States; I am a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah GA. MFA Advertising, BFA Photography, BFA Graphic Design. I am a designer and a photographer that has a love for everything art. I have experience working in advertising agencies, branding and packaging firms, and fashion design companies. I am an Ophthalmic Photographer for Bascom Palmer, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I also have a photography and design company, J.Thomson Photography/Design. In my time outside of Bascom Palmer I like to volunteer my design efforts to the Ophthalmic Photographers Society. I also create medical illustrations, family photography and commercial photography for my clients. I am passionate about supporting nonprofit groups, including The US Humane Society.
